Tbilisi to Stepantsminda
Heading north out of the capital Tbilisi we headed towards the mountains. Fresh air, wildflowers and jagged peaks are good for the soul.
There are some hikes where the journey itself becomes the story. The Kazbegi Glacier Hike in Georgia was one of those days — an early-morning climb through the Caucasus, dramatic mountain scenery, changing light, and an unexpected four-legged guide who decided to join us for the entire adventure.
